In 2003, I had the opportunity to participate in a workshop conducted by Naoto Fukasawa at my alma mater. This is a refinement of the model I made at that workshop. At the time, it was just a simple, painted urethane foam mock-up. The model wasn’t completely realized, leaving plenty of room for improvement.
Try to visualize what custard pudding looks like after you scoop into it with a spoon. The ABS resin was machined and carefully polished to get that “pudding-like” texture. The tapered sides are another characteristic of pudding incorporated into the shape, which is designed to be relatable to everyone.
