Resistors are electronic components found on printed circuit boards. About the size of a grain of rice, with a constricted center section, resistors attach to the board with lead wires. I borrowed their striped pattern for the design, with protruding legs made from cast aluminum to both reproduce the texture of lead wires as well as increase stability. The result is a stool with a sculpture-like presence.
